If the mirror has two faces,
And the coin has two sides,
In the equidistant of two opposites,
Here’s the poetry of a paradox.
In you, there’s calm and chaos.
A beautiful disaster, a perfect storm.
A minor catastrophe,
A troubling serenity.
To my heart,
You are a perilous haven,
A sweet misery,
A cold flame.
You’re an adventure and a comfort zone,
That stir and steady me all at once,
Terribly good, seriously funny,
We’re caught up in this impossible possibility.
In this certain uncertainty,
You are my definite maybe,
My magical realism,
Making me a wise fool
