Remnant of a Dead Star

Sulking in the corner,
Staring blankly at the mirror.
Wondering,
Along with her lonely heartbeats.
In the realm of darkness,
Why she isn’t twinkling anymore?
Like how a star she used to be.

With a total stranger,
Staring back at her,
Tears teased to fall again.
As she muttered her unheard pains,
To the selfish, uncaring wind.

She missed her old self.
The one glimmering in the night sky,
Belonging to the brightest galaxy.
And abhor the idea,
That she’s a black hole now.
A remnant.
A leftover.
Invisible.
